I can’t get enough of your love I’m not perfect I’ve been fading into grey Feel like I can walk on water Malta representeras av Ira Losco, som tävlar med startnummer arton i den första semifinalen den 10 maj. This face represents the awe Nya had towards the so-called "iron giraffe", which is actually the well in her village area. She acts as though it is a huge monster with amazing powers, even though in reality it is just their main source of survival (a water well). (pg 70 "An iron giraffe. A red giraffe that made very loud noises." pg 71 "But it did not sound at all like water.") The Hollywood Reporter Du hittar fler än 4000 serieavsnitt och hundratals handplockade filmer. The following day our guide invited us back to his house for tea so we met up with him after breakfast and then went for half an hour to get to a small neighboring village to Imlil where he lived with his wife and three children. I took the opportunity to eat a bar and drink a lot. I always have to remind myself to drink more often than I usually do because otherwise it may end up like Bolivia when I drank too little at over 5000 m altitude and suffered from dehydration later in the evening. I had put on more clothes this day: Cover Pants from Haglöfs whom I have when I go snowboarding. Under that I had a layer from Icebreaker, a base layer and a thin jacket from Peak Performance, and then a windproof jacket in Goretex from Haglöfs over. To not get snow in my shoes, I used gaiters from Sea to Summit and my cap that I got from my friend’s from Patagonia. I also had warm gloves from Hestra and a buff from Naturkompaniet. But the trail was clearly marked, and we really had managed to get absolutely perfect weather. On the way down we saw how the clouds swept across the mountains and the week before it had snowed a lot, which made it impossible to reach the top. The higher we got, the more snow there was around us. The lunches were spent like this: Our guide served us way too much food and mint tea. Vegetarian food was standard during the mountain tour and bread as you can see to the left was the same as we did every day for all meals, seems to be some classic Moroccan bread. But to get to eat lunch like this in the mountains in the sunshine with this amazing view was absolutely magical. In the afternoon, we arrived at our mountain hut. By t hen we had walked in the snow about half way up which was a bit heavier (and more sweaty, it was really hot between the mountains when there was no wind). The cottage was clearly above expectations. They warmed it up by the fire in the stove (it was not hot except in the common rooms on the ground where they had stoves). We had a private room (but it was a bit expensive so you could also sleep in the dormitory) and there were both running water and proper toilets (but no shower). For a few hours in the evening, there were additionally lights inside the rooms. The rooms were otherwise very cold when heat from the stoves did not quite get there. We had sleeping bags, sleeping bag sheet (I had obviously bought the warmest) and a blanket over and fully dressed with underwear and small jacket and cap. It was still cold. The next morning we met our guide at 9. The hotel had arranged the whole tour for us according to our wishes. He had a carrier and a donkey with him but we wanted to carry our own backpacks so we just let them take the guides equipment. Here we’re about one hour from the top, the second and final break. I managed to eat half a bar and a little more water. I really try to always make sure to get new energy when we stop for breaks. You need it to cope. From our mountain hut and up to the top, it was about 1,000 meters of altitude and we went pretty fast pace uphill. Passed several other hikers. Many walked up with skis and then skied down. It looked cool out but I can’t really understand if it was worth it? The snow had a pretty hard shell and not at all that wonderful powder-feeling.
And we packed all the packaging once more to ensure that we had everything with us for the mountain ascent. I love to pack in those small colorful bags so you can have different things in each bag. I had a clothes bag, technology bag, snack bag and a bag of gloves, caps and such. I also have two large backpacks Osprey a 88 L that had to stay home, and a 50 L that I had with me on the trip. We had chosen to let the guide bring sleeping bags for us which saved some space so we didn’t need the large backpacks. It was, after all slots showdown on facebook, only a two-day tour. When the sun arrived, I took my Acne sunglasses and took off the shell jacket. A few hours later my legs were really tired when we came back to the Kasbah du Toubkal. We checked into our new room and drank some tea. Tried their hammam again. This time we asked someone how they did it and then felt like a pro. After a fantastic dinner (again) we fell asleep early. _ This is just an extra room next to the other exactly same room. If you have a lot of guests I guess. It was great to see another part of Morocco also beyond Marrakech. Next time I get there, I want to experience the Sahara desert. Then we started walking down. We were going all the way back to the hotel, which meant 2400 meters of altitude. The first bit we just flew down from the mountain at a furious pace and our guide was very impressed. He told me that sometimes he was tying people to a rope and directing them down because they were so exhausted. Getting to the top is not the whole journey. You should be able to go down too. We passed the Swedes who started much earlier than us. Greeted congratulations to others who were on the way up. And I took off both gloves, hat, buff and jacket and opened the ventilation on my pants. The sun was high in the sky and it was very sweaty when we had such high tempo downhill. Slowly but surely we calmed down to save on your knees to manage all the way down.
I found a waterfall I wanted to photograph. So I climbed down a cliff to get the best angle. I had no tripod with me but I put the camera on a rock and managed to get some half slow shutter speed in the afternoon light.
After the coffee break we went back to the hotel and packed up our stuff to spend the rest of the day in Marrakech.
This is what I looked like last night when we had our last dinner on Zanzibar. I dressed up with a cute dress and heels, it was fun after walking around in my Birkenstocks for a week hehe. I’ve had such a lovely week with the team, I’m really gonna miss it. I got up at 9.30 and took a walk to the office. With a stop for coffee and to take an awkward self-timer photo, it took me about 30 minutes to go to our office at Östermalm. Otherwise I think it will take about 20 minutes, so it’s pretty close! I was greeted by a happy dog when I got to the office, I’ve missed him so much. <3 // Hey sweeties! We’re in the lounge in Istanbul waiting for our next flight, it’s not until tonight so we have many hours here. I’m gonna eat lots of food (the buffet here is sooo good) video poker pay schedules, edit photos and go through my e-mail (I tried to keep an eye on my e-mail during our trip but I still have 350 unread….phuuu) Now it’s back to reality again, tomorrow morning I’m back at the office! First walk to the office! 23 January, 2017 - 13:42 Dress HERE (adlink!) // shoes from Zara // bag from Chanel
